Imagine a busy camp dining hall full of energetic campers, hungry staff, and occasional flying food.  This communal eating ritual happens 3 times a day at camp all summer long.  It's the job of the Program Director to ensure some form of chaotic choreography through the meals.  Although he didn't know it at the time, this was the beginning of Steve's public  broadcast career.  As Program Director for numerous camps over many summers, it was his job to organize and inform those rowdy dining halls, while ensuring everyone had a good time too.

Since then, Steve has moved from the dining hall to the mainstage and while the amount of flying objects may have changed, the energy of the crowds he addresses has not.  Steve regularly has the opportunity to host Whistler's largest crowds at concerts, competitions, and community events.

Chances are if you have attended a fun event in Whistler over the past few seasons, Steve was right there with you.  He has had the opportunity to emcee many events, including the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival, Whistler's New Years - First Night, the weekly Fire and Ice big air show, and the GMC Canadian Alpine Ski Championships.

A broadcast graduate, Steve is an aspiring television show host, and current radio personality with Squamish's Mountain FM.  Steve donates his time and voice to numerous community events throughout the Sea to Sky corridor.  Additionally, Steve volunteers his voice by providing material on tape for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

If you have an event on the horizon and need an Emcee, count on Steve to deliver your message clearly and with a collective WhisterVoice.
